Taking Care of You
Helping Children Heal from Trauma

These groups are not counselling. They provide information and practical strategies.  Registration can be done by calling the office 306-522-2777, or emailing us at rsac@Sasktel.net

This group offers participants a safe space in which to learn about complex trauma and the body's responses to it.  Together, we explore topics that help to normalize these responses while practicing new coping strategies and nurturing self-compassion.  We meet weekly, for 12 weeks, in a structured and closed group that includes some creative arts, mindfulness practice, and sharing.

COMPLEX TRAUMA

This group is offered to women who are navigating the justice system after reporting

sexual assault, intimate partner violence, or childhood sexual abuse.  This group offers

participants an opportunity to learn more about the justice system (from those professionals who work in it) while enhancing personal coping skills and building solidarity with

others enduring similar challenges.  We meet weekly, for 12 weeks, and explore grounding, mindfulness, creative expression, and our personal and collective responses to sexual violence and the justice system.
